A lot of two (2) campaign flags for the 1900 Presidential election. One flag features images of eventual winners William McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt; the other flag depicts William Jennings Bryan and Adlai Stevenson I. The flags are printed on cotton and feature forty-five stars arranged in a 7-8-7-8-7 pattern. Campaign flags were banned in 1905 following an effort to initiate a ban in 1890, leading to decreased numbers prior to the formal ban, making this is an incredibly rare piece of campaign memorabilia. The Bryan/Stevenson flag is misprinted slightly higher onto the cloth, obscuring a portion of the top row of stars and the upper red stripe. 6.375×13 inches each.
