Thomas Edison bi-polar electric fan motor, ca. 1895. Cast iron frame with Thomas A. Edison script trademark in gold paint. Top of frame has data plate stamped “Manufactured By Edison Mfg. Co, Thomas A. Edison Prop., Orange, N.J. U.S.A. 6062.” Height 9.5 inches. Width 7 inches. Very good condition. Shaft spins freely. Appears complete, excepting the rotor/blade assembly.
