Bronze Spreadwing Eagle Figure

A standing eagle figure, with nicely weathered verdigris and patinated surface. This figure stands atop a half-sphere mount, which appears to have been cut from some larger ornament or finial. Certainly nineteenth century or earlier. Height 14.75 inches. Wingspan 10 inches.
