Colt ‘Black Army’ Model 1911 semi-automatic pistol with magazine and holster. Manufactured 1918 and delivered to the US Government’s Bush Terminal, Brooklyn, NY on November 3rd of that year. Right of slide marked “Model of 1911. U.S. Army.” Left of slide has two-block roll mark with patent dates 1897 through 1913, Rampant Colt and “Colt’s Pt. F. A. Mfg. Co. Hartford, CT. U.S. A.” Left of frame stamped “United States Property.” Trigger guard marked “34.” Eagle’s head over “S5” Springfield inspection mark above magazine release. Rear of slide marked “H” above firing pin. Chamber has conjoined “HP” proof. Fixed sights, lanyard ring and checkered wood grips. Includes two-tone magazine marked “R” on toe and Textan leather holster with cavalry headquarters disc. Very good condition. Complete and original. Markings legible.
