1937 Mauser K98k, Portuguese contract Model 937-A bolt-action rifle with bayonet. Matching serial numbers on receiver, bolt, barrel, stock and front barrel band. Waffenamt proofs throughout. No apparent import marks. Right receiver flat marked “Mauser-Werke AG Oberndorf.” Barrel length 24 inches. These rifles were built on the same production lines, at the same time, and to the exact same specifications as the German military’s K98k rifles. FFL or C&R required for transfer.
