General Longstreet’s Gallery Antique Signage

A sign for an antique store called ‘General Longstreet’s Gallery.’ advertising Civil War memorabilia. The sign features a prominent line drawing portrait of Civil War General James Longstreet. Primarily in red, white, and blue colors, with the white and the blue the most prominent. One side has been fully cleaned and restored; the other side is partially cleaned and restored. The exact location of the original gallery has not been found, but strong contextual evidence points to the Memphis, Tennessee area. 40×33 inches. Partially restored.
