Brass 11.5-inch Solar Model 1287 acetylene carbide automobile headlight, manufactured ca. 1900 by Badger Brass of Kenosha, Wisconsin for Premier Motor Manufacturing. Top of housing has embossed mark “Premier.” Front knob marked “Solar 1287.” Includes two-arm stand for mounting to running boards. Retains original gas nozzle.

Very fine condition. Small puncture in top of brass housing under “Premier” mark.
