An 1847 pattern Inniskilling Dragoon Officer’s helmet, featuring gilt body, a textile chin strap with scalloped scales with rosette caps, and a white horse hair plume above the mounted badge. Inner circumference of approximately 25 inches, hat size 8 US, 7 7/8 UK. Very fine aged condition. Surface wear and oxidation present. Possibly re-lined.
