Colt Model 1911 semi-automatic pistol with magazine. Delivered to Fort Ethan Allen on November 25th, 1913. Right of slide marked “Model of 1911. U.S. Army.” Left of slide marked “Colt’s Pt. F. A. Mfg. Co. Hartford. CT. U.S.A” and “Patented Apr 20.1897, Sept. 9. 1902. Dec. 19. 1905. Feb. 14. 1911.” Rampant Colt behind slide serrations. Left of frame has “United States Property” and “WGP” inspection mark above magazine release. Rear of slide marked “H” above firing pin, and top of chamber marked “P H.” Fixed sights, lanyard ring and checkered wood grips. Includes two-tone magazine marked “R” on toe. Fine condition. Professionally restored. Markings clear and legible.
