Waffen-SS M42 steel combat helmet with reversible camouflage cover or Helmbezug. Helmet is complete, retaining liner, chinstrap, liner band and rivets. Interior of helmet stamped “CKL62 532” at neck. Right side exterior has SS rune decal under vent hole. Left side of liner has faint handwriting in ink, partially legible. Cloth helmet cover affixed with three aluminum rockers and reinforced visor cover. Underside has autumn pattern. Very good condition. Front of cover shows scattered loss. Decal fine. Fabrics do not fluoresce under UV light. This lot has a reserve.
